Possible finds include V Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Jeffersons from the 1930s–1950s, War Nickels (35% silver), 2009s, 2024s, DDOs, proofs, foreign coins, oddities, and more!

You only receive the finds from your box — you do not receive an entire box of nickels.

COPPER PACK

Choose any five (5) 1 oz regular copper rounds currently available on the website, or receive a $16.25 USD store credit added to your store bank.

PENNY PACK

• (1) 2 Cent Coin, 1864–1873 — Cull. Some have full or partial dates, and some still have visible design details.
• (1) Indian Head Cent, 1864–1909 — Average condition.
• (3) 1943 Steel Cents — Average condition. P, D & S mint set when available.
• (1) Wheat Cent, 1909–1919 — Average condition.
• (2) Wheat Cents, 1920s — Average condition.
• (2) Wheat Cents, 1930s — Average condition.
• (1) Wheat Cent, 1940–1958 — BU Red, in a protective flip.

NICKEL PACK

• (1) Shield Nickel, 1866–1883 — Cull. Some have visible design details, but may be environmentally damaged or slick. I try to give you one of the better examples I have available. Some may have rays (1866 or 1877), but most will be regular Shield Nickels.
• (1) V Nickel, 1883–1912 — Average condition.
• (2) Buffalo Nickels, 1913–1938 — Full dates, with or without mint marks, average condition.
• (1) War Nickel — Average condition.

HOW IT WORKS

These hunts are live streamed Mondays and Thursdays at 5:30 PM Mountain Time.

After purchase, please email dadhuntscoins@gmail.com to select an available hunt date and let me know which pack you would like.

Hunt openings are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Purchasing a hunt does not reserve a specific livestream date until your hunt has been scheduled with Dad Hunts Coins. If other hunts are purchased while we are waiting to hear from you, available openings may be offered to customers who have already contacted us and are ready to schedule.

HUNT SCHEDULING

Please make sure the email address used for your order is one you regularly check, as Dad Hunts Coins may need to contact you regarding scheduling your hunt.

If we do not receive an email from you and are unable to reach you after multiple attempts, the hunt portion of your order may be refunded if other items were purchased with the hunt. Any remaining items in the order will then be shipped using the shipping paid at checkout.

If the hunt was purchased by itself, we will continue attempting to contact you to arrange your hunt before issuing a refund.

PRIVACY DURING LIVE HUNTS

You are welcome to watch your hunt live, but you do not have to. If you prefer not to watch your hunt or do not want your name or identity mentioned during the livestream, simply let us know when scheduling your hunt.

When your hunt is streamed, we can refer to you as "customer's box," "customer hunt," or another anonymous description rather than using your name or other identifying information.
